Amazing customer service and delicious empanadas!!! Will be back and highly recommend them!
Got a pork plate at the Puerto Rican fest because they were out of empanadas. The plate cost $15 and was incredibly small. Thought it would come in a styrofoam takeout container, but it was served in a small paper tray (like what a hot dog or a small fry would be served in. I can’t express enough how much of a rip off it was. The container was barely even half full. Not even a cup of rice. The rice was cooked well, but bland. There was even less pork, which was also bland and a little dry. I’ve made more flavorful crockpot pork at home. It was topped with an orange sauce which I’m pretty sure was just ketchup/Mayo mix. It was off putting as topping on this dish. Paying was difficult and lengthy, had to walk to their other truck and disturb that line to pay.
Outstanding empanadas! The Clinton Street location isn't open to the general public--you have to catch them at Sol's Underground on the RIT campus. But delicious food made by delightful people. Our favorite are the beef empanadas, but all are really good. Buffalo chicken has a nice spice without too much vinegar.
