Large German themes beer hall with a fantastic terrace. You have a selection of German imports and local craftsmen in German style. Eating is also very good, with a mixture of German and other styles.
I love this place. The food is consistently delicious and it is not too expensive. Service is always excellent. I love the atmosphere and the decor. The pulp is fried, which is different, but makes it super crisp on the outside and something reminds of fried dough, but still very pretzely. I really like mustard and beer cheese sauce is good. I think this has become my favorite pretzel in Rochester! It is regrettable that it does not seem too busy every time I visit, and I noticed that she scaled a little back her menu. I hope this place does it! I always have a great experience, delicious food excellent cocktails friendly staff, not excellent at all. Also the oysters. They are fantastic!! Again my favorite in Rochester, I used to go to Lento for oysters, but I feel like they were much better here. Get a beer a pulp, oysters, a cocktail, Brussels spits and everything else. Too bad they don't make scallops anymore, they were excellent! Like the duck!
Great place! Food is excellent big beer selection. Service is best that I seem in Rochester.
This is Octoberfest every day. A liter of beer in a boot? Check. Best brats in town? Yes. Outdoor seating and a fireplace? Yes. A brunch drink that'll challenge your afternoon? Naturally. Pastrami sandwich that rocks? Yes. Weekday specials that buck the trends and make you want to skip taco Tuesday for UnterBurgerTuesday? Yep. Cocktails as well? Yep. Also! If you've never had sauerkraut, and think it's gross, try this, TRUST ME: get a kolsch, it's light. Get any wurst you want, they all taste good, really. So it comes with sauerkraut and a potato salad. Get a small bite of everything and get it your mouth all at once. NOW chew, and review the flavor. Wash down with a good swig. Hones I'm not a fan or kraut on its own, but all combined, it's freaking great.
