Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe wait staff was really nice, but our group of three were the only ones at the table, so the chef did minimal effort and engaged very little. Food was the same as it always is (which is decent, but nothing noteworthy) and our bill was $150. Forfifty bucks a person and just ok food, I would think there would be more to the experience. We've been going there for years, but I think it may be time to be done. :
Not especially impressed with the dinner portions for being $5-$6 more than the lunches. My large family comes here a lot, and tonight we were a crowded party of 11, but the amount of veggies they cooked up looked the same as when we had been a party of 7from a previous dinner visit.
Childbirth choice, never seen hibachi. great time, big cook and show. the service was less than desirable, several times grounded. best they go the lunchtime, half the cost.
We were excited to try this place; however, I wouldn’t recommend. The quality of the sushi was similar to grocery stores in town, but 2x as much. In addition, we found a piece of plastic in one of our sushi rolls and reported to the manager, who claimed all the rolls come wrapped in plastic. We should’ve let the red flags of a poorly cleaned table and half full restaurant on a Saturday evening change our minds but we didn’t listen.
When we had walked in for a good, quick, mid afternoon meal we had noticed the place was pretty quiet aside from a few people at the bar. Perfect, timing will be great since our server won’t have a ton of other people to wait on and can keep tabs on us easy enough (even though we’re not often much of a demanding table). Got sat and the…host? Server? Not sure who she was was quick to ask what we wanted to drink before we had sat down, not a problem and they were quick to get us our beverages. However, at some point, our server had been switched and she was no where to be had most of the time. She would run us the food and quickly leave and when we had a couple of quick questions or needed something, after flagging our server down, she’d hear the first one and take off before making sure there wasn’t anything else which became very awkward. On top of all this the food, which took a while to arrive at the table, wasn’t worth the amount we paid. Matter of fact, many gas stations serve equal in quality food for 1/10th the price. To make matters even better we had to sit and listen to the bartender talk to the people sitting at the bar about how it’s okay to park in handicap spots (despite not being handicap) and about their political beliefs. Sure, I believe in freedom of speech and all but when you have a $ tab the last thing I want is some hole in the wall bar experience listening to conversations that simply don’t belong in a “high end” restaurant. Overpriced, poor staff, won’t be in business much longer.
