Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food is just indescribably awesome, it's just THAT good! They have the best flavors in their food AND drinks. Highly recommend eating here. The team is very nice as well. At lunch they serve Cuban sandwiches (the owner gets the bread from Florida) Try this out and thank my later. ????
For appetizers, we ordered the black wings, fried ribs, and chicken and waffles sushi. You all have to try these—they were so delicious that we knew from the start our main courses would be just as enjoyable, and they certainly were! Several members of our group ordered the bacon-wrapped meatloaf and couldn't stop praising it. One person had the alderwood salmon and promised to return just for that dish. Another ordered the fish and tots and raved about how flavorful it was. I had the hot honey tofu served on a bed of perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts, which was just divine! I can’t wait to go back! On another note, this restaurant is situated in a historic location tied to the civil rights movement. We were deeply moved by the stories, photographs, and poignant facts about the Friendship 9. Reflecting on that experience made us grateful, and I’m eager to bring more family and friends here in the future.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this restaurant in downtown Rock Hill. I went for lunch and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I was part of a group of four, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The presentation of the salads was a lovely detail. I tried the b3 based on our server's suggestion, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly. I can't wait to return the next time we’re in the area.
Not just supper this was an experience! Kounter just launched a Sunday Supper Club concept ! Kounter located in the heart of Rock hill,SC is launching a Sunday supper club with Chef Rob. The drinks were phenomenal and each course over exceeded my expectations. Included in this supper club experience is for each guest to choose a cocktail, a 4 course meal , along with a surprise additional course , and a bottle of wine as well . Talk about a bang for your buck and an experience this is it . What I loved most is how interactive it was,Chef Rob came out several times to ask how was everything and if you had any favorites. My favorite hands down was the watermelon lasagna, talk about wowing your palate this course nailed it. Far as the desserts it was hard to choose a favorite everything was absolutely amazing. Be sure before leaving to check out The Jail no bail : How 30 days impacted the civil rights movement exhibit can be found when exiting Kounter .
For my main dish, I ordered the Alderwood Salmon, served with swirled potato purée, forest mushroom cream, julienne snow peas, and crispy shallots. It was a wonderful twist on salmon, and I enjoyed the leftovers just as much the next day when I reheated them on the stove. My husband opted for the Steak Potato, featuring seared hanger steak, swirled potato purée, crab Brie butter, and lemon-chili blistered snow peas. The steak was cooked to perfection and blended beautifully with the other flavors. For dessert, we tried their version of Whipped Key Lime, which included graham cracker crumble, torched vanilla meringue, and brûléed lime sugar. If you're a fan of key lime pie, you absolutely must try this! It was exceptionally good—not too tart—and the torched vanilla meringue added a delightful extra layer of flavor. We will definitely return, especially when we have out-of-town guests!
