Mash Brewing Company - Rockingham

We have been here quite a few times. Our most recent was the worse and haven't been back since. The food has always been on a bit of the greasy side and uses up a months worth of oil intake. The Steak sandwich is normally quite tasty but the last one I had was quite poor quality, maybe they changed kitchen staff? I really haven't desired to go back. Plus my wife doesn't really like the craft beers. That's not to say it is not something that you should experience a least once to see if you like it.

After standing at the bar waiting her to finish playing with her Facebook before we could get a drink Francine the duty manager then refused to serve water to my son who is under 18. A legal requirement by the Liquor License Law of Western Australia. And had the cheek to get rude to us dad and mum. Terrible attitude and truely awful service.

We have been coming to Mash for a number of years to sample their superb crafted beers, but on the last two visits the choice of beers has been limited to some of the Feral Brews, Today two of the taps ran dry so we were limited to just a couple of 4.8's and none of the old Mash Beers, especially the Challenger, Guvnor and Copy Cat. If it wasn't for the charm and persuasion of Crystal the Manager we would not have bothered to stay, but because she understands the business we made do with Hop Hog and some great plates served up by the Chefs. Sadly we won't be going back, simply because Mash Beers are no longer on Tap.

We dropped in for a beer and a feed on the spare of the moment and found it to be worth the stop, we tried a few different thing but the wings were by far the best thing we had that day, though the beer was very nice also.

We are regulars at Mash and today the steak sandwich was very average. The steak was cremated, bacon burnt and tasted of dirty grill. Not a lot of filling inside except huge pieces of melted cheese. The caramelized onions and cider chutney were very minimal compared to normal. This is your signature dish!!. Always great. common guys don't let this be the standard like a lot of the others. Everyone can have an off day and hope you appreciate the feedback?
