Spice Xing is a little at the end of the price, as their shares are smaller. This would not be my first choice for Indian food as there are other areas that are cheaper with larger portion sizes. The service was good and the server was attentive and there was no waiting for a large group (that can be good or bad, your own perception). We ordered 4 orders from Naan for the table (group of 5 people), and tried both the original and garlic taste. One of my friends ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh from the menu that tasted good. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo, which had a good level of spices, not too mild and not too spicy where I could not eat it. The ducks came with a small portion of rice, a cold cabbage salad and some seasonal vegetables. Unfortunately, the seasonal veggies were cold and tasted old and left out so I didn't care much for them.
Ordered multiple items for a large catering event. Kati Rolls were the bomb! Individual packaged complete meals were also excellent. Very easy to work with Mr. Sayan. Would definitely order again from Spice Xing!
We’ve been regularly ordering from Spice Xing during the pandemic, and have never had a bad meal! The baby dosa is absolutely amazing, along with the chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani. The staff we’ve interacted with have always been friendly and courteous, and our food has almost always been ready to go at the earliest given time. Spice Xing is definitely our go to place when we’re craving great Indian cuisine!
So much I love Asian cuisine, I am so happy there is an Indian restaurant in Rockville Town Square. I think Indian is essential for every food hotspot and Spice Xing fits the bill. I ordered the chickens Nilgiri, Samosa chaat, Bhel puri and garlic naan. I have a terrible feeling of taste, but the chicken Nilgiri seemed like an interesting turn on sweet and sour or warm. It was a bit too warm for my middle-western palate, but I'm sure there's a milder duck I'll enjoy! The Samosa Chaat was more my pace; warm spices, pastries and chickpeas. Great Naanbrot and the Bhel puri were interesting. Sweet, crispy, not sharp.
I just stopped at this place for a starter. The ambience of this place is good. In the middle of the Rockville city center. We had ordered the Kati roll and chicken tandoori and we loved it both. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I would certainly see this place again
