Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is another great Chinese restaurant in MoCo. Pretty much everything I got from this place was delicious. I highly recommend spicy beef tendons, spicy Crispy chicken, Fei Teng fish soup, and beef Chow fun. If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. Staff are friendly, but were not attentive. You have a small buffet style service during the weekend lunch, where you can taste various dishes. My friends told me they also have great pot dishes. This place is behind the Strip-Mall (via the Club of Sam), it was kind of hard to find it when I first visited. But this place has many parking spaces tho. Definitely a hidden gem in Gaithersburg.
Everything was delicious and the food came out quickly. Probably the best Moo Shi Chicken I've ever had. Also the shrimp with Broccoli and General Tsao's chicken were great. We waited a while to get the bill. We wouldn't leave if we were in a hurry. The food past looked wonderful and we will try their green beans next time. The table opposite of us had a fried fish I had a picture of and it looked laborious.
It's really good with good service. I would recommend it now as the best in this part of Gaithersburg IMO. I have high standards for Asian food, especially Chinese, and so 5 stars would be amazing. Best steamed pig dumplings. Casserole like hot pots are really good.
Rated number 1 in larger DC range of several families come here at least once a month for almost one year.
Food was very good, one waiter was excellent, the waitress was not. How food pictures I have posted are from 2 different visits each time we got a hot pot and I liked both of them. I would recommend the Lion's Head hot pot to people who want something authentic but safe for American taste buds. My wife also went through the line and when she got to the counter the girl started helping the lady behind my wife.
