Meze - Rodos

The restaurant looked really nice and cozy with live music. the food was not good and they didn't get much food for the price, they had no sauce for the steak we ordered. so that even really dry for an expensive steak. we also ordered grilled fish that were not so good. when we wanted to pay with a credit card, they told us we could only pay cash. we had no money) so that it was really annoying that they didn't tell us before we were sad. the waiter showed us on a cash machine to get cash and the cash machines she told us we should put 20€ in bill to get money (because we are from another country). the owner gave us 10€ because of their mistake by not telling us that we could not pay with cash. but only because we're really mad. I would not recommend this place to others for eating. but maybe a nice place for a drink with live music.

Owner is really nice but the service is far from being good. Food takes forever and is simply below average. Good for the appetisers but that’s about it

Avoid at all costs. On entering the place we were told that it was traditional Greek family run, all fresh food cooked by ‘mama’ in the kitchen etc... in reality it’s pizzas with cardboard bases for 10 euro. Got to be the worst pizza on the island as it was the poorest effort at a restaurant pizza I’ve ever seen! None of our order arrived together. Part of our order was not delivered to the table but was still on our bill, which we had to ask to be taken off. We also asked for the pizza (last to arrive) to be taken off the bill as it was so bad but we were told that they would only take half of it off the bill which is just not very good customer service at all given we were so unhappy with it. We were in Rhodes for a week and it was the only disappointing meal we had whilst there. On checking the trip advisor and google reviews afterwards we were not surprised to read many other horror stories.

Got lured in by the friendly owner, which promised great food. After a look on the menu we ordered the beef steak plate. I've never felt so fooled before, it was probably the worst meal i've ever had. The meat tasted nothing, even after a few teaspoons of spice, the burned taste of the meat didn't dissapear. The wine was okay tho.

This was worst place where we ate at rhodes. We went there because it looked nice and there where lots of people and live music. We got table easily but then everything started to get wrong. We had to wait 30minutes to get our order that included starter menu of 9 plates. 4 cold and 5 warm. main dishes. For me meat plate and wife had stuffed pepper and tomatoes. We waited and waited and yes we waited. waitress told uss ”here is so manu people”. Well yes.. full restaurant and one ”cook”. We got our cold plates and then the main dishes. We had to ask our warm starters again! We finally got all our dishes and well you guess. Food was not very good... 2 hours passed by and when we got our bill over 50 euros i said we pay 30e. Waitress said go and tall to the owner. I went and told that we had to wait way too much the food came as it camed and the owner just said that ”everybody waits”. Nice customer service... and the top of it all when i talked to the owner polices came there!! I dont know did they came for what reason, but owner talked to them and i paid the bill completely to get away. Dont go here. There are so many better places in old town.
