Avaliação da contribuiçãoLocal for evening and evening placed a few steps from the walls of san pietro, inside the auditorium of the conciliation. access from the same road, going up to the second floor of the building. the welcome is friendly and the service is very kind and attentive. on the basis of my experience the variety of cocktails is not very wide, but allows to have quality instead of quantity, even non-alcoholic. the average price varies between 15€ and 18€. scrolling through my photos you can have a preview of the rooms, where however the temperature was too high, making it annoying to stay in the jacket or with a sweater. speaking of musical entertainment, being in an auditorium, I would have expected more. recommended place for a after dinner in tranquility and with a company for a chat, where music does not exceed the tone of your voice.
Flawless atmosphere and drink among the best ever.
Great place in the center of rom. nice drink. great atmosphere. I love the fact that is very spacious. they can aperitivo, dinner and dance all at one place. it is one of my favorite places in rom.
I am from, and have my home in, Ostia Lido (Rome), though I live most of the year in Miami. I am surprised by the negative Italian reviews here. Perhaps I shouldn't be. I parked my car at Piazza Cavour and walked alone to Chorus, technically within the walls of Vatican City, looking for the best cocktails in Rome. Not only did I find them, but I was welcomed with charm and impeccable professionalism. Massimo and his team put on a world-class experience for me and their guests. This is a place for people who understand and appreciate the realm of spirits and the art of mixology; that said, even their wine list is solid, with a Dettori from Sardinia that most sommeliers around the globe would appreciate. The food at the bar was solid and the ingredients were as fresh as one can get in the Eternal City. The steak tartare was divine, though I should have asked for a larger portion than the bar’s ; knowing what I know now, they would have accommodated me. In closing and once again, I was not expecting to be blown away the way I was. I cannot wait to go back. A picture is worth a thousand words, so I am posting a few here. Gentile Massimo, grazie dell’indimenticabile serata. Sto per scrivere a Valentino Longo e mi auguro di incontrarlo presto qui a Miami. Spero ancor di più di rivedervi a Roma verso giugno. Complimenti alla giovane signorina che mi ha creato un Negroni e Chartreuse delizioso.
We had a booking at the chorus cafe for my wife’s 30th birthday, she was desperate to visit here and it would have been a wonderful way to end a brilliant day in the city. We had traveled all the way from the UK, with this visit due to be the highlight of our evenings she was most looking forward to! My wife fortunately checked the Instagram page of the restaurant an hour before we were due to set off from our hotel, with nothing more than a black page with white writing on their IG story 3 hours ago stating “CLOSED FOR PRIVATE EVENT TONIGHT see you tomorrow” appalling behaviour from what is meant to be a classy establishment, without any courtesy call or email, getting a last minute booking in Rome is a nightmare any night of the week, has put a completely downer on our evening and will not be returning here. Terrible customer service and an awful way to do business. I guess they care more about a quick than satisfying paying customers.
