The Republic - Rome

The hotel is very comfortable. Steps to the subway, various buses and there to Terti Station. The national museums are near where we killed some time before we have our train on board. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Peter at the reception checked us directly and we had a valuable rest after the flight. Breakfast is rich in protein, fruit and vegetables. We have booked the small room, but the room is very comfortable and the bathroom size is quite decent. Strong change that saved our lives after a long day in the heat. I'll be back for this wonderful hotel.

Room was very clean and has amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, mini fridge, electric kettle and hairdryer, so our stay was very comfortable. Location was so convenient for public transport on foot to Roma Termini. The breakfast bar was very good, with a selection of dishes and drinks.

A real nice hotel near Roma Termini railway station and the Baths of Diocletian. Rooms modern and confortable. No traffic noise. Airco works well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As it is not located in the city centre, there are nice restaurants nearby who do not overcharge.

The hotel is amazing. It looks very fancy and the hotel itself and rooms are very clean. You can check in at 2, but we were a bit earlier, so the man checked if our room was clean. It was so we could check in at 12:45! The rooms have everything you need. You get clean towels every day as they clean your room. There is a mini fridge with snacks an drinks that you have to pay for, but we just bought our own snacks and water bottles and put it in the fridge. In the bathroom they also provide a little showergel, shampoo, conditioner and bodylotion which are exhanged everyday if they are used. Airconditioning is AMAZING. Especially if you are not used to the italian summer heat. Breakfast is nice. The coffee fron the machine is okay, the pasteries and food is quite good. Breakfast is from 7 10:30. We booked a hoteltransfer with SIT, they dropp you off at station Termini in front of the best western. This hotel was in perfect combination. It is only a 5 10 min walk from Termini to the hotel. The neigbourhood is sometimes a little sketchy between termini and the hotel but if you go in a different direction it is fine. There is at 10 15min walk to termini at the end a 'Mercato ' which is like a foodcourt. I really reccomend going there for dinner because the prices are not too high and the food is amazing, very close to the hotel. Overall we had a amazing experience and reccomend this hotel!

Very basic hotel. Fine for a quick break in Rome as we were out most of the time. Excellent location walking distance to most attractions. Staff were generally unhelpful and miserable but I found that in several places around Rome so many just be cultural. Horrible sewage smell in the shower no phone to call reception. Basic breakfast nothing to write home about.
