Avaliação da contribuiçãoBlack Olive WAS my favourite eating place up until May 2017 -when, sadly, the original family that owned the cafe sold up and moved on. ANy reviews prior to May do not apply to the new Black Olive - it is just a very ordinary place with alimited menu - mostly catering for take-aways such as sandwiches, baguettes, wraps ets. None of those lovely homemade dishes and home grown salad ingredients. Why is it when places change hands it is never for the better.
Driving past I stopped in to get a quick breakfast on the run with a coffee. A good choice of food options, good coffee & prompt service.
Having Christmas to see your family is always hard, as my favourite cafe in Adelaide, I was a little lost for a month. Bit mow you're back. The food is surprisingly good for a small cafe, but you do get used to the high quality. The service is always friendly and the coffee is excellent. I simply can't fault this cafe, and there is no comparison for the mix of great coffee, food and service on the eastern side of town. For a takeaway coffee, quick sandwich or one of the amazing and fresh full meal specials, it's worth the time to spend with a friend.
I didn't need anything to eat but I stopped anyway ...I had an hour to kill before my next meeting Ordered my latte ...yay it was Great ..I ordered a frittata ,well it was so goddam good I ate all of it .. Coffee n frittata cost $19 a little pricey but still have to admit it was great
I stopped at Black Olive Cafe to grab a coffee. The staff were rude and made me feel like an inconvenience. Once I was greeted with an empty hello, I ordered my flat white hoped the coffee would be worth it. As soon as I got my coffee I quickly left the negative atmosphere. The coffee was disappointing...I'd rather get a coffee from Mcdonalds in future.
