We came back to the Brick when the Northern Exposure was on TV. At that time as a poor college student, we don't have our money for...
The food is good. Servers are so attentive, helpful and pleasant. Could use some Entree on the menu. But otherwise a solid choice.
They have a separate veg/vegan menu with several decent vegan junk food options (i.e., burgers, nachos, grilled cheese, etc. . Nothing on the healthier side, but it is bar food, so I guess that's understandable. Vegan cheese costs extra but is available. The food was good. The service was not very good, and I got a bit of a MAGA vibe from the place. This is the oldest bar in Washington and has a cool running water spittoon along the bar, so it's worth a visit just for the experience. For sober folks, they have several N/A beers, including Athletic Brewing Company, which is vegan and the best in the market, in my opinion. Updated from previous review on 2023-02-12
We got the black bean burger and the vegan nachos with impossible crumbles. Some of the order was wrong and they forgot our drinks. Food was ok, but literally no one working there or in the kitchen wore masks. anti-mask and anti-vax signs paper their windows. Bummer, their menu had a lot of vegan options for a remote town.
