Lily House - Rosscarbery

Have used this restaurant for many years as a lazy, no cooking day, takeaway. It has never been great, but now it is terrible. Very bad quality food but they are still well able to charge high prices. Don’t waste your money here-you could rustle up much better at home faster , for way less and eat healthier and tastier grub. Also €2 for prawn crackers?!!!

Prices shown on outside window are 50% lower as what you have to pay/ are shown on the menu inside. Food wasn't that bad but since we have been misled, I would not recommend to go there. Prices are too high compared with what you get for it.

Absolutely terrible service! I thanked for the order, she did not even look at me and did not answer anything, making such a face as if she hates me. Never again. The food is very small for the price.

Had dinner here last weekend, 2 adults and 2 children, starters for 4, 3 main courses, 2 bottles of beer which cost over €70. The food was lovely but for those prices you would expect proper customer service, either the waitress is totally overworked or she hates her job but bar asking us what we wanted she never spoke to us. Totally unacceptable, even our children commented on it. I'm guessing it has little competition and doesn't need to up its game. Unfortunate really.

The food was of a very high quality, well worth a trip to Rosscarbery. A real hidden gem.
