Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt was easy enough to go up to the bar to order the meals. It was also easy enough to find an empty table since the staffed cleared them fairly efficiently. Food was nice but a bit pricier than other places. Food cooked well and tasty. It was just surprising that they use different batters for the fried squid meal and the squid in the seafood platter (squid meal was crispier).
Not sure about all the negative reviews about this place, you go to the counter, order your food, order your drinks and sit down at your chosen table. The service is good the food is good the views and atmosphere are both awesome. The food is much much better than the pub...so thanks to the staff at Aristos, ignore the haters...
On Sunday, 6 March, my dining companions and I ordered the prawn and scallop pizza at this restaurant. While the flavor of the pizza was good and the dough was well-made, we were disappointed by the scant amount of toppings. It seemed like there was only a handful of prawns and one chopped up scallop scattered on the pizza, which we found to be poor value for the $35 price tag. Even Dominoes offers better toppings on their pizzas. Additionally, when the pizza was brought to our table, the server (who didn't seem to be very well-trained) removed the previous diners' bottle and glasses but neglected to wipe down the table. To make matters worse, we found fishbones in our last slice of pizza. When we brought this to the counter, we received a dismissive apology. Overall, I would not recommend dining at this restaurant.
Ordered a pizza, and after 20 minutes of waiting went up and asked how long it would be. Turns out they'd totally forgot my order, so I had to wait another 10 minutes before they cooked it and brought it out.
Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The service was poor and the food was subpar. When we requested extra sauce for the fish and chips, the waiter simply placed a bunch of individual takeaway sachets on our table. The $36 prawn and scallop pizza had a pre-made crust that resembled something you would find in a grocery store, making it inedible. The waitstaff was rude, and the lack of adequate heating with only two small heaters in such a large space was not acceptable. We suggest avoiding this overpriced establishment altogether.
