Governors Bar - ROTTNEST ISLAND

I visited this restaurant today around noon. Many other restaurants were crowded and we were seeking a more relaxed setting.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could, but unfortunately I cannot. I have allergies to ice, milk, and a severe allergy to drowning. I ordered their nachos without any acidic toppings, and requested extra chicken for an additional $3. When the dish was brought out, it appeared to be missing the cheese, acidic toppings, and the extra chicken we paid for. It took too long for the correct order to be brought to us, and I was not offered a replacement when I complained about the missing chicken. It wasn't until later that I realized the replacement dish had caused an allergic reaction. I received a refund for my meal and for my mother who had to accompany me while I was sick. The staff was not attentive and the customer service was lacking. Additionally, our friends had a disappointing experience with their $26 grilled fish dish, which came with a small portion of salad and a few chips alongside three tiny pieces of fish. Fortunately, I only have mild allergies to seafood; if I had a severe reaction, the consequences could have been life-threatening. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those with allergies. It's best to steer clear of this establishment, as the risk of an allergic reaction is not worth the subpar quality of the food and overall dining experience.

This small bar on Rottnest Island has a lovely charm and is a fantastic spot.

Came here today at a laune around the midday. many of the other restaurants were packed and we were looking for something much more relaxed than my man had food poisoning, which is exactly what we found. service was amazing. the whole staff was so friendly so that small chat and review on us from time to time that we have not found much in oz. I had a few beers and the chicken parlour and everything was great. huge portioning and quite expensive! looks as if they had a lot of goodness in the evening and throughout the week, so I would definitely be interested in a night at my next visit to rottnest. would definitely recommend for those who are looking somewhere quieter on the day with great service, tasty eating and many tvs goin!

This is a fun, cozy bar with pool tables that had a dj or a band at different times. it has an entertaining atmosphere that is different than anything else on the island. small and few tables. eating is variable. in the rule recommend to get the specificities
