La Petite Auberge - Rouen

Absolutely delicious. Menu set at a reasonable price.

The worst restaurant experience I had in Rouen. The owner changed about 2 months ago most good reviews refer to the owner before. We took the 4 course menu (starter, main dish, cheese, dessert) for 28 euros. Starters and main dishes were really bad. Don't get blended by the photos, decoration of plates is good but quality of the food and taste really bad. Duck terrine had a taste of nothing much. Slugs were okay. Duck was not roasted. Risotto (side dish) tasted of not much. Vegetables (side dish) tasted lime tomato paste. Sauces tasted worse than a ready made sauce from the supermarket. Cheese and apple pie as dessert were okay. There are too many tables for the small room. Would not recommend going there!

Visited last night and had very good service, but the food was very very bad! Everything tasted like it was from a school cafeteria. It was really not enjoyable. We're not that fussy and the only enjoyed was the wine. You need to improve your food. It was a complete waste of money.

Meat was too chewy, bad quality, all the food including the entree, the mains, the side dishes (risotto) was bad. I went looking forward to the Escargots, it was way too salty and the seasoning was bad. I went after looking at google and tripadvisor review, it was completely wrong and huge disappointment.

Exceptional! Quiet and warm atmosphere. The kitchen is refined, at the same time served and delicious. From the entrance to the dessert no false note! Don't miss it!
