Avaliação da contribuiçãoThey do have one of the best burgers in town! I would suggest piedmontese upgrade in your meat. I get my steaks medium, but this burger should be cooked medium well, trust me. Another fantastic staple, everyday Manhattan Calm Chowder! It is TO DIE FOR!!! I don 't say that lightly. Other menu items are delicious. I personally don 't care for the 'zip sauce '. The Mt Vernon or Cornwallis can 't miss. Delicious traditional Cubano. My uncle loves the scotch egg BTW. Everyone from the area knows of Red Coat. It 's worth the wait. Or can be slick, order carry and walk right past the giant crowd waiting to sit, grab your food, go home and eat. If you 've never been, now is the time!!!
Same tasty giant hamburgers that I remember from the 70's. Great service.
If you are in the mood for a wimpy slider, this is not the place to be. We're talking a 1/2 lb deliciously prepared burger, stacked high with any topping you might want. My burgers average $15 with all the options I pick, so it's not a cheap or quick meal, but for the quality it's average price. Takeout leads a bit to a soggy bun, so if ordered again I might ask for bun on the side so I can construct it at home, but I've never had this problem at the restaurant in the past 7 years when I dined inside.
It 's a terrific place that is *far* more than 'just a local watering hole '. Their food is absolutely *not* an afterthought, here, and that goes far beyond just the burger. Very, very good. Honest.
We were seated within 10 minutes, and the burgers were, as always, fantastic. The service was exceptional! We're really glad we chose Redcoat, especially since it's been a while since we last visited because it's a 45-minute drive away.
