My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on Friday. He ordered the fish and chips while I ordered the cheeseburger. Unfortunately, our meals were not satisfying. My boyfriend's fish was cold and the chips were dry and unappetizing. My cheeseburger seemed like it came from a frozen package, with plastic-like cheese and a stale bun. The salads also did not look appealing. The price of nearly £20 per meal was not worth it. We left feeling unwell and won't be returning. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant had excellent Black Sheep beer, delicious food, and a very welcoming hostess from the North East. The locals were also interesting. The pub had a traditional decor. Overall, it was a great experience. The price per person was between £20-£30. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. The steak and ale pie is packed with plenty of meat. The average cost per person is between £10 and £20.

Always been a good pub with great handpull beers for me and a warm welcome for my dog Isthatgeorgefrommarton. Only had a Sunday lunch from the menu, but very nice. Great range of entertainment and Halloween just gone was epic, customers dressed up, Elvis n karaoke, it's what weekend's are for.
