Avaliação da contribuiçãoAbsolutely love Pomegranate. The food is so comforting and delicious, the staff are kind and welcoming. The ambiance feels very homey, one of the few SD restaurants that has good lighting. Great for dates, birthdays, or just getting people together!
Delicious Khinkali, but Availability is Inconsistent The khinkali here are absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, they're not always available. It's important to confirm during your reservation if they'll be served. I wish they were always on the menu, as they're truly a highlight of the restaurant.
Came with some family a while back, and really did not know what to expect at all. This place has always been on my list due to its high reviews! We really did not know what to get, so the waitress helping us was very helpful in explaining the menu and providing recommendations. The dining area is a bit dim, which can be cozy and romantic for some. It definitely sets the mood to this place! The cheesy bread with raw egg in it was a treat. The staff were very kind and whipped it together for us at our table. The beef stroganoff and the cabbage rolls were also very good. They both had such rich sauces that really set the bar high in terms of flavor. We also got the pierogi, which historically I have not been a fan of, but the one at Pomegranate was probably my favorite all time! Everything here was a treat, and it was a great place to catch up with family.
DELICIOUS Highlights were the eggplant salsa, the cheesy bread and the beef stroganoff. The chicken stew was tasty, but not quite what I expected. It was more a stewed chicken quarter: breast, wing, thigh all included. The portions are generous, so come hungry and probably expect to take home leftovers. bring a sharpie to sign the wall.
Came here for an early Saturday dinner. They only have street parking. This place is casual with lots of writings on the wall. We started with the vodka flight and horseradish shot was the best but very spicy. For appetizer, we ordered the adjaruli khachapuri which was the egg cheese bread. It was like a cheesy pizza. Friends ordered beef stroganoff pork shaslik and they both loved it. I had the lamb stew and it was the best. Very tasty and tender. To end the dinner we ordered the Toad Sweat ice cream. It has habanero but not too overwhelming. I thought I wasnt going to like this dessert but I was wrong. I loved it. Our server was very nice and attentive. Will definitely come here again to try another dish.
