Pickle Barrel In Fort Coll

Sadly, it's just not good anymore under the new ownership. You know that saying about things that ain't broke. Well, they tried to fix something and the results are sadly underwhelming, to say the least. Sad to see a Fort Collins institution go to waste. Edit: if you have that much time and effort to respond to an honest review, you're failing your guests and employees by serving subpar food. JRR Tolken taking over Pickle Barrel isn't what I expected. But his works were worth reading.

We have been getting Pickle Barrel sandwiches since the early 1990s. We used to love their sandwiches! Today, we ordered for delivery our usual toonces sandwich. It was horrible, super salty, bread was over toasted and not grilled. Sadly I will never go back, it had been going downhill, but it just hit rock bottom.

I used to love this place. Since new ownership took over, the portion sizes are smaller, the prices are higher and the quality is inferior overall. We were even sitting st the bar and the bartender rang us up and gave our check without us even asking for it or stating that we were finished. Would not recommend.

A true Fort Collins gem! My husband and I come here every time that we are in town. The sandwiches are sooo good.

I've been going to PB since the mid 90's. Always great food and great place to hang. Smoked pastrami was delish! The new back area is nice. I like to fill my belly at the pickle barrel deli.
