Avaliação da contribuiçãoA star taken away because I expected way more from this place. In a nice steakhouse, especially during Covid, I do not expect to find something nasty stuck to the table a nd then it gets on my friend?s shirt sleeve. He was offered club soda to wipe it off but the club soda never came. Also the ambiance in the main dining room is beautiful. We were seated upstairs in the little loft area. A very drafty room and a TV going on the whole time. Very tacky for a steakhouse. Thesaving grace of the evening was the steak; both the tomahawk and the filet mignon got a butter flambé at the table and especially the tomahawk was melt in your mouth. The Chilean sea bass was good too. Calamari was good, I liked theaddition of little chili peppers. I was not impressed with the sides at all. The Parmesan truffle fries and the side of vegetables was nothing to write about. The creamed spinach was ok. And I was also disappointed with the lack lusterdrinks (another star taken away) the old fashioned was very dilute and the Negroni was just ok. Now the desserts were good?we ordered the chocolate cake (good) and the bag of donuts (excellent). Will I go back? I might give this placeanother try but there are lots of steakhouses in San Diego that I already love and know what to expect.
Came on Valentines weekend luckily we made a reservation. Food was really good the drinks were really good! Really enjoyed our service with Steven. Super knowledgeable of the the menu helped us create a perfect spread. He also kept us laughing thanks Steven!
My **** Maria was good, had to send my steak back, ordered medium rare, got well done. The egg in brioche was delicious. My gf's avocado toast and poached eggs were good and spicy. Overall, a little pricey for the quality, but the live DJ made it worth it, would definitely come again. Also, bottomless mimosas and **** Mary's.
