Das Rindfleisch, medium rare gebraten, und der Salat einfach nur gut, der Service, nachdem der leere Teller abgeräumt war, mit anderen Gästen beschäftigt. Das kann definitiv nicht verbessert werden. Auch kein Billigangebot.
A Christmas gift of special kind led us to Saarlouis on 29.01.2016. We got maps for a culinary event in "THE CLUB", the event location of the Victor's Residenz-Hotel Saarlouis. Under the motto “Rock around Dinner” we enjoyed a delicate 5-course menu’s with a cowardly live music between the courses. Known from the Queen musical “We will rock you!”, the whole blood singers Sascha Lien and Sascha Krebs Evergreens rocked by the Beatles, Toto, Queen, AC DC, the Rolling Stones, and Co. The large event room, flooded by room-high window elements, was very tastefully decorated, the furnishings avant-garde, minimalist and modern with comfortable Plexiglassesseln at elegantly covered tables. Particularly impressive I found the large chandeliers floating in cloth on the ceiling and the special atmosphere that produced various colorful light effects on the sides. Service The service at Victor’s is as expected from a hotel restaurant of this class. Perfect from greeting to passing, friendly, attentive, well-trained – there is nothing to expose. Cuisine Our Menu (Kulinarik-Event 65€ Person 1. Sweet potato soup with “Surfing” River Cancer 2. Salmon fillet at Kresserisotto 3. Liverpool-Sorbet 4. American Beef, Pommes “Macaire” and bacon beans 5. Cheesecake with chocolate ice cream All ingredients were of impeccable quality and fresh, the preparation of the dishes was handmade perfect, the individual courses were presented creatively and professionally. The warm corridors reached the table well tempered on preheated plates. The various dishes were excellent. Above all, the salmon could score points, a great fine-aromatic fillet piece, which was a wonderful pale man's maus by short low-temperature yarns wonderfully juicy and virgin in the core almost raw. The same applies to the American Beef. Here, too, the chefs have chosen a particularly good piece from the entrecôte with beautiful fat rim, perfectly prepared with brown crust made by high heat and at low heat. The kitchen is risky – the cooking point was English, not everyone’s case, but it has tasted us excellent – juicy, butterzart, a pleasure. All other food ingredients were well prepared and could convince. Perfect risotto, heartyly spiced and bite-resistant bacon beans, the biscuits of finely crushed potatoes, the beautifully savory, discreetly spiced potato soup with river cancer and also the delicious sweets, Liverpool Sorbet, hearty refreshing Cassis – ice cream in champagne glass, and the dessert, American cheeses with delicate chocolates were very good. Aperitif of the house, champagne with Rhabarbersirup, ice-cold served, then a bottle of Chardonnay Andeluna Argentina (25.50€ Fl. and steak a Zinfandel Beringer California (24.50€ Fl.
