Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have visited this restaurant countless times, as I am gluten free. I have enjoyed toppings from my friends' pizzas (with their permission), tried their hand cut double fried fries with one of their homemade sauces, sampled plenty of wines and ciders, and appreciated the attentive staff and great music. The restaurant is conveniently located, stays open late (for Sacramento), and has two outdoor patios for nice days. I highly recommend it. Even when the building experienced a flood, the owners and employees set up a makeshift outdoor patio to continue serving customers and supporting their staff. Impressive.
I have dined at PSR several times. There is always a wait, sometimes longer than expected, so I usually have a beer and sit awkwardly while waiting for my food. Tonight, I tried to call in an order for two slices. The girl who answered the phone told me it would be a one-hour wait. After explaining that I only wanted two slices and asking if we could agree on a set pick-up time, her reply was, "How about a 1.5-hour wait?" Any restaurant or business that quotes excessively long wait times is basically saying, "Sorry, we don't want your business or your money." PSR is good, but they are out of line if they expect me to wait 1.5 hours for two slices of pizza. They need to get their act together and improve their service.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it took 45 minutes to receive our pizza after placing our order. The restaurant did not seem to be very busy at the time. A waitress mentioned she would check on our pizza but never returned. It is possible she forgot. My husband had to inquire about our order, which seemed to annoy a kitchen staff member. When our pizza finally arrived after 45 minutes, the waiter did not engage with us much before walking away. The pizza was tasty overall, but the poor service left us feeling frustrated. I may consider giving this restaurant another chance in the future to see if this experience was a one-time occurrence, but I am uncertain. The table next to us also experienced a long wait time and shared their frustration. Additionally, we had to order at the counter, which is fine, but for the high price of the pizzas, I expected more attentive service. This is just my personal opinion.
The pizza at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the portion size is perfect for the price. I wish I could give them five stars. The beer selection is also great - I adore this charming little pizza spot. (They also have fantastic dipping sauces, which are vegan-friendly; the green one was especially tasty).
Best vegan pizza I've ever had hands down. And the pizzas are BIG.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options. Plant based pepperoni and cheese both very good.
