la piazza - Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Went with family for a catch up. Nice outside terrasse but the food was average. Not particularly authentic italien. I had the duck lasagne which was okay, but tasted more like a hachis Parmentier (shepherd’s pie) as it was served with some kind of wine sauce (same sauce on my husband’s dish which I forget). I am a bit of a purist just don’t be misled by the name and expect Italian food.

We had dinner in the outside patio, the food was fine and fresh but nothing exceptional. Service however was extremely slow although the place was not full. Pricing is not excessive for the category and style of this restaurant.

Good Italian. very warm welcome. of space. comfortable seats. A nice decor. a recommendation.

An excellent evening with delicious dishes at the lastone. I highly recommend! pleasant and smiling service.

Nice discovery, welcoming and warm decor, well heated by overcast in this cold rain day. the pizza pate is fine, the quality filling. tagliatelles with truffles are also excellent. The map also includes anti-pastis, risotto. all Italian must-sees. Anyway, we recommend this restaurant!
