I have a friend from Iran who used to prepare meals for us, and now that he lives in another state, I feel a sense of homecoming at this amazing restaurant. I absolutely love dining here! The service here was prompt, and my server was very polite. I ordered the kabob combo, and the meats were juicy and well-seasoned. For an appetizer, I had the falafel, which was absolutely delicious. It was served warm, and the outside was perfectly crunchy. Overall, I found it very flavorful. I will definitely be back!

I ordered the beef kabobs, which were different from any I’ve had before (check out the photo), but they were packed with flavor. Truly delicious! On that chilly evening in St. Louis, the hot tea was just what we needed. For our appetizer, we ordered falafel, which was incredibly hot, fresh, and crunchy. Next, we shared a platter that featured three types of kabobs: chicken, beef, and lamb, along with two varieties of rice. One was a specialty rice with berries (whose name escapes me), and the other was the classic buttered basmati yellow rice. Both were delicious. The kabobs were exceptional; the halal meat was cooked and roasted to perfection, and we couldn’t stop eating. As a longtime fan of Iranian kabobs, I can confidently say this place has mastered the craft. To round off our fantastic meal, we ordered Iranian rice pudding, similar to Indian firni. It was creamy and aromatic, served chilled and topped with pistachios, with a perfectly balanced sweetness. Everything was cooked impeccably, and the portion sizes were generous. We shared individual plates, and the portions were just right for us. My only minor complaint would be that they didn’t serve any complimentary fresh-baked pita with the salad, which is quite common in Persian restaurants in the US. However, in hindsight, it was probably for the best, as I often fill up on the delicious warm pita before the main course. Additionally, the owner came over to chat with us, and he was genuinely sweet, even offering us some of their famous dill rice to take home. I never expected such kind hospitality from a restaurant—it felt almost familial. They truly are wonderful people. I cannot recommend this place enough. Be sure to visit; you can thank me later!
