The Corner Street Food - Saint Louis

How was it? That was my second time. For the first time we got chicken burgers and Strassenburgers and sweet potatoes. This time Turkey burgers and I usually don't care about them, but this was so good. We'll be back.

The food was good, never had funnel cakeries before in my life. I'm here to tell you that the funnel cake alone is worth it. But I don't think anyone ever has to pay $8 for a single rum and coke. So it is said that $8 for the single may not be taken off deal by a trainer because I am not sure that there is any Colla in it.

I love this place. Great food drinks. I come with friends to cool and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great ambience! Although the food was somewhat pricier than expected, everything was very delicious. The shrimp tacos were great! Some of the dishes in the menu were not available at the time of the visit and we had to select other items. I didn't expect to pay for water. This is the first restaurant I've ever visited which at least no glass of tap water supplied. Only bottle water, and it had to be bought.

First and most importantly, all the food we had was delicious. I had the Mac 10 burger with sweet potato fries and the wife had the shrimp with street corn. The burger taste and dressings were top notch would love to try another one of their specialty burgers. The sweet potato fries were brown sugar dusted and served with an icing dip. Unexpected but very tasty. I think the street corn was the best thing on the table. The jumbo shrimp were very crispy and the sauce was good. I do wish we had more sauce. We felt like we had to ration the two small cups that came with the 9 shrimp. The employees were very welcoming and nice and there was some good vibe tunes playing while we ate. They only have bottled beverages which was a bummer, as we typically like to drink water when we are out. They didn't have any diet selections either. Their menu has a lot of food that have some spice to it, and my wife seemed to have a hard time trying to pick something out that she thought wouldn't be too spicy. The sweet and spicy sauce and the Thai sauce were both tasty and not too spicy for her. Overall our lunch was about $40 with tip. I'd say it was very good, but a little expensive for what I'd typically like to spend on lunch. Would recommend to others
