Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food was fantastic. First course: we had the onion knot and the English Muffin Pate. Only hint was that the Ricotta could have used a pinch of salt, but given health concerns for some people I understand limit sodium. Second course: we had the Speck Ham and Beef Tartare. Mostly Beef Tartare is a winner everywhere, but the Speck Ham has blown it absolutely out of the water. What is not to say is that the tartare was bad from any right. The bacon Ham is just to die and will surely let me come back. I should note that we are reviewing with our server as fish allergies are important to us that contains Tartare Worcestershire Sauce, so if you are allergic to fish. Third course: we had the pumpkin tortaleni and the green oak leaf lettuce, both were so fantastic we forgot to make pictures. Definitely take the advice of the server on the oak leaf and mix the salad with the fig cream underneath as it makes the dish absolutely wonderful. Fourth course: we had the Oxtail Spätzle and the Porck Chop. Both were fantastic entrees. My only real note is, I wish I had some bread for the pork chop, because the juice from the pork chop is mixed with the Demi-Gletscher /au jus and I just want to have something to wipe so I don't have to lick the dish clean. Our server Dan was absolutely fantastic, he helps to put our time constraints on the best of his ability. We wrote our note that we have to be somewhere at seven, the realized that we had to leave earlier. 10/10 service safe.
I have exceeded my high expectations. There we were for our 10. Jubilee and everything was wonderful. Such a perfect combination of elegant and covered. It's like a chic dinner at your best friend's house. I loved the solid tasting menu made it so easy and the whole food was delicious. Absolutely first-class service!
This is our favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. From room (internal or terrace) to food; it is the top notch from the beginning to the end. This is our place for every special occasion. I never had a mediocre meal here, nor had I had bad service. When they know that it is a special occasion, they try to feel it really special. Example: Today was my birthday, and they brought us a glass of Bubbly to begin (free) and an aperitif before dessert. (also free) I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. They were one of 3 we made a point during the pandemic to make sure they remained open. (although we missed the service element when it was removed) You can't miss when you leave here!!
That sounds so cliché that I hate myself for writing, but it is the most accurate way to describe my experience: they treat you like family. From the minute I went to the door until I left, I was looked after in the most professional and friendly way: the service was the second one on none. It was slightly overshadowed by the amazing food. Delicious food. Fantastic delectable food! Oh, my Gawd the food. I can't stress enough how meaningful this statement comes from me, but any opportunity I'm dining out will now be when under my control at Joan's. I can't wait to go back, and if you're on the fence, honestly, you waste valuable time when you drink beautiful wine and nice handmade delicacies with really warm, intelligent, friendly people eating.
Enjoyed great service by Dan and the food was tasty. Definitely a great special dinner kind of place. Went for my husband?s and my birthday and they added cute decor to the table and nice extra treats throughout the night.
