Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were looking for a typical Russian restaurant . Located very close to our hotel, we were overwhelmed by a very tasty kitchen (I had a Borsch and a Kiev Kotelett , as well as excellent service (in English! and exceptional furnishings. Only the beer should also come from Russia. ; An absolute insider tip for St. Petersburg and lovers of Russian cuisine.
Cosy restaurant away from the noisy and crowded city center. Nice design environment, with modern baltic style furniture. Fresh ingredients mixed in good dishes. Apart from this, catastrophic. 1) The restaurant is located at first floor, just above a disco club. Since 10 pm you'll be eating in a background of disco music whose basses will make vibe your table. The waitress itself admitted they have no control on this and that this happens almost everyday. 2) At 11:35 pm we asked for a dessert. Impossible: kitchen had been closed at 11:30 pm. No exception. Not even for a dry biscuit. Just coffee. Why didn't she tell us before, since we had finished our dinner 20 minutes before and nobody came to take away our dishes?! 3) At 11:45: surprise! The waitress, just after bringing us the coffe, asked us to pay the bill because at midnight they had to close. Does that mean they had to evacuate the restaurant?! Bad experience.
We were a group of friends. Food and drinks selection is good for all tastes and wishes. We took some appetizers to share. All tasted very good and very nicely arranged. Same for the main courses. The service was very good and caring, bringing the food simultaneously. Good selection of drinks.
I was at a friend's home for a dinner and it was catered by Sympozium. They served very well the food was great and they paid a lot of attention to the guests. They had a full staff that was very attentive to details.
The restaurant is not big, dishes are tasty, interier is cosy. Meat was very good, the choice of beer is not so big, so you can take some wine. Staff is speaking english.
