Family tradition. We can't go to Provence without stopping to see Xavier at the Café des Arènes. Always a pleasure
We really enjoyed our meal here, so much so that we returned within a week. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor spacious terrace and plays nice background music. Our meals on both occasions were freshly cooked, well flavoured and delicious. We recommend the chicken brochettes served with a very tasty ratatouille and sautéed potatoes on a sizzling platter with a creamy curry sauce on the side. The creme brûlée was as good as I have had anywhere. This restaurant is on the quieter side of town so does not get as much passing trade but it is worth a visit if you are looking for a relaxing evening with a good value, home cooked meal. The owner is welcoming and helpful. No doubt we will return again.
The food was excellent for the price. The service was very good and friendly. Loved the terrasse. There is a live band on weekends which makes the atmosphere a lot of fun. There was nothing I didn't like there. Xavier, the owner, was very friendly and spoke English. Great cocktails too. An amazing experience! Nothing to do with the previous owner.
I am really surprised at these other reviews as we enjoyed a good lunch here. Amazing sangria on a hot day, warm and accomodating service, big fresh salads, and a nice plate of pasta. No complaints and a great outdoor seating area. Would go back for sure. Nice family run business atmosphere.
