Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe are familiar with the Baton Rouge chain of restaurants and we have never had a bad experience until now. We were in Ste-Foy visiting with a terminally ill relative and we decided to go to Baton Rouge. The server asked if we wanted drinks, I ordered a glass of wine and my husband said just a glass of soda from the bar. She brought a whole bottle of Pellligrino,we sent it back and restated our order. She brought the soda water. My husband ordered a soup and a full rack of ribs with fries.I did not want an appetizer , I ordered a half rack of ribs with fries . He was barely into his soup when she brought our meals , she said sorry the chef was faster than usual. Whether it was the chef’s fault or the server is irrelevant, it was definitely irritating. The main meal came with fries that were over cooked and cold. The ribs were tasty but very small . We left hungry as we did not eat the fries. To top it all off the server charged the bottle of Pelligrino to our bill. My husband did not notice it until the next day. He is responsible for not checking the bill properly but the server should not have left it on the bill. Not a great experience in Ste Foy, will not go again.
This is a nice restaurant with good food. good service not long good ambiance nice servers. friendly place with a good menu
Ate dinner there about a week ago. Servers seemed indifferent and unwelcoming when we first arrived. I ordered the rack of pork ribs, which I’ve had before at B.R. and they were always great! This time, not so much The rack was tiny when it arrived but it was when I started eating it I realized, it was very over cooked. So much so it was charred black on the bottom of the rack. I mentioned it to our server when she came around. Again me try with complete indifference. Same d she would ‘tell the kitchen’ and walked away! Didn’t take photos but it was bad! Do NOT recommend this location at all. Go elsewhere for a good meal that’s worth the price charged.
Ok, hubbies enjoyed the burgers, we opted for the poutine, too much going on for seniors in that dish but I am sure teens would love it, nice staff, very friendly, would go there again to have a salad for sure, they look so good and they are a much better choice for our age group
We visited the Baton Rouge in Place Ste-Foy in Quebec for the first time on a Friday evening in September. We were seated in the overflow area which extends into the shopping centre itself. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and our server Alexia. We partook in the Santa Fe chicken and the roasted vegetable sandwich. Everything was fine.
