Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis lovely guinguette sits by the banks of the Loire and provides lovely views. Food is casual dining, including a very good vegetarian burger, with friendly and attentive service. One section is for drinks only, while the terrace is for diners. It feels like an undiscovered gem and we would highly recommend.
We spent a lovely afternoon with some drinks admiring the view, and playing petanque... for dinner, the menu was full is fresh product! Definitely need to try the poisson de la criee. Best wishes for the team!
Such a delight to discover this totally understated gem of a water front location in the most under exploited corner of France. Think typical erstwhile relaxed St Trop or Caribbean non fussy authenticity. Excellent service (English/Dutch speaking) and cuisine.Well priced enough to then splash out on the wine and champagne and the wine list is also very reasonably priced. Go with any fish selection brought in by Gladys, the well read fishmonger, and book well ahead. I went to the Port Thibault again on the 2nd August and again there was live music: this time a Jazz Guitarist with more rhythm than the group on the first night reflected in the impromptu dancing Guinguette's are also known for (Guinguette: On the water's edge; Casual; live music dance element though latter not necessarily daily).
We loved to come in the summer and discovered the guinguette in the autumn....everydays too top! Really delicious pleasant view and respect for barrier gestures a place where you feel safe to enjoy and get full view of it with very friendly servers! We strongly recommend this place
Yesterday we had a family meal in the guinguette. The place is nice... Facial to find... Prices are reasonable and good quality. Only a small delicate point... I had the impression of being pressed by the service
