Second Cup Cafe Cie Avec Pinkberry Yogourt Glace

Today I was part of a situation that rather disappointed me. Long story short, I went to buy a coffee at the drive-thru at this Second Cup and then drove to my home to work there. However, when I arrived home, I quickly noticed that there was a power outage (affecting a large part of Sainte-Julie). As a courtesy, I then made a phone call to Second Cup to ask if it was possible for me to come and do my work there and bring my coffee which I had just purchased from this same place a little earlier (it was still full). I was very surprised by the judgment coming from the owner, telling me that my question was very strange (even though I was simply calling to find out if this was possible). I was then told, in a rather curt tone, to go to the library instead since the Café was then filling up with customers affected by the outage and who really wanted to consume Second Cup products (while I myself was affected by it and that I had just purchased a Second Cup coffee from this establishment). Being naturally rather embarrassed and not wanting to persist, I thanked the lady on the phone and hung up. In short, I must admit that I was rather disappointed with the judgment and the tone in which I was spoken to. I have been a big customer of this Second Cup for several years and have purchased many products from them that I love (this is partly why I give it three stars). However, following this telephone conversation, I am now unsure whether I want to go back...

Very good place for coffees, my go-to for relaxing and talking, but I might have to stop having coffees there after one of the baristas gave me a coffee with caffeine telling me that it was decaffeinated (because I had ordered my decaffeinated coffee) causing me heart problems and a big attack of arrhythmia. All this despite asking him if the coffee was decaffeinated and explaining to him that I have heart problems and that caffeine is dangerous for me. She told me that it was indeed decaffeinated, which was wrong, instead of making me another one that was really decaffeinated...but, after several delicious trouble-free coffees, it's probably just a one time accident that's not going to happen again, but next time I'll be more careful

Very nice place with excellent service. The only reason for my less star for the atmosphere is due to the fact that the armchairs, always comfortable, have become old and the leather upholstery is coming off. ? Otherwise, A1
