So it is not very touristy but the people here are extremely welcoming especially of foreigners. The menu is out of this world. We ordered small plates to tastes and share and there ws really nothing to dissapoint. I recommend starting by oysters, they are really great and have a nice variety from various parts of Canada especially teh maritimes where oysters are a speciality. The contre-fillet and the morue (fish) are just perfect. they melt in your mouth and you can really tatse every flavor that goes into making each meal. The deserts, is a completely out if this workd experience. The canolis and the pot of Ferrero choclate are a must. It is not a very cheap place but for the quality of food and service, the place becomes realively cheap. Speaking of the service, it is just perfect. The waiters were all extremely well knowledegable of everything and they were super nice. They deserve all the praises. I highly recommend visiting this place. You will not be dissapointed at all Please like this review if you find it helpful. We had a table for 7 on a Thursday night. We all started with house drinks and each Was a treat with fresh herbs and spices. The onion soup is a must, a tru delight. All in all we all had superb dishes with Prompt, attentive service.
They messed. Yo my reservation but the manager took care of it, kitchen is open so you see everything, staff is super nice and food is delicious.
I have visited this restaurant several times and was eager for them to reopen. As with my previous visits, I have to commend the staff who are friendly, attentive, and truly care for their customers. The decor remains the same, with an open concept and modern design. The food is gourmet pub style with a unique twist, offering a menu that includes snacks, pub fare, and daily specials. From duck wings and burgers to fish and chips and various tartars, there is something for everyone. During my most recent visit, I tried the steak tartar and it was excellent. Although the fries were a bit lacking this time, I am confident this issue will be addressed. If you are looking for a lively atmosphere with great food and drinks, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
I visited this restaurant a couple of years ago and found the food to be average. However, the atmosphere and service were excellent. When it reopened, we decided to give it another try. We ordered the Fish TAO, which is a combination of fish and chips with an Asian fusion twist. It was delicious and the portions were generous. I also tried the corn soup and grilled corn, which were decent but not outstanding. Overall, while the cuisine may not be top-notch, it's a good spot for a casual snack and drink.
