La Porchetta - Sale

We never have high expectations when we come to eat at this restaurant. It's just for pure comfort and a quick meal without going to a pub. During our visit, we were served by a young lady who seemed to be having a rough day - she barely spoke and seemed agitated. When we tried to pay the bill, she had some sort of issue and angrily threw the EFTPOS machine, swore, and stormed off towards the back of the kitchen. Luckily, a senior staff member quickly intervened and followed her. We left feeling uneasy about the whole situation.

We have dined at this restaurant a few times, and each time I remember why I vowed not to return. Today, a small incident involving a teenager solidified my decision. I attempted to order online in order to minimize contact, but after 10 minutes of struggling with their unreliable website, I was unable to add a card for payment. When I visited the restaurant, the uninterested teenager brushed me off, stating that they had apparently turned off and then reopened the online ordering system. They suggested I go get cash and return, and also mentioned that they had received an online order over an hour ago. The fact that the order came incomplete, with missing ingredients and a non-gluten-free base for someone with an intolerance, was the final straw. It seems that they do not take complaints seriously and do not value their customers' time.

La Porchetta is consistently a great choice for a meal, offering a variety of meal options at different times. The pasta is always delicious and the staff is very attentive. The service during our visits has always been fantastic.

Booked for 6 no employees wearing face mask, it took them to come old and get our order and then they could not write it. false drinks came out and chicken parma was burned, the calamari on the meeress food was hard and...horrible will not eat again there.

Our group was booked in for lunch at 12 noon. we arrive to discover we were to be squashed in behind another large group. there was hardly enough room between the rows for waiter to get through from one end to the other The group...was from a different area to our group but from the same company. They had an onward booking for 2.00pm and had not even had their drinks orders taken when we arrived. there was 1 waiter doing all the work and one would think when they have bookings for groups more staff would be organised.
