101 Wine Press - Salinas

A moderately sized space serving ribs, chicken, and tri tip. It has a variety of wines and a really great sangria. Locals love the place. However, staff one day allowed us to enter through the back door which angered the owner who became quite rude about it.

The Food is Delicious , especially this salad ! Large portions so it can be shared ! The trip was delicious! I have also had there sausage ! Wine is spectacular ! perfect for a small, they needed a nice wine bistro/bbq spot like this !

We love supporting local business, but won’t be back here. Our waitress, the one wearing rubber gloves, took our order, didn’t bother writing it down. 45 minutes later, after watching every other guest receive their food, we finally got ours. It was clearly rushed when plated, and we think she forgot to put in our order. That’s fine, we understand things happen, but she never once apologized. Awful service. Chicken salad was completely dried out, and contained 1 strawberry. We have had this same waitress a few times, and each time, the service is poor.

The food is delicious. Amazing family-oriented environment to hang, enjoy a great meal and even watch Sports related channels on the big screen TVs. On weekends, it gets busy especially during special events, … I would highly recommend any customer to come and try it out.
