This pub is closed, December 2019. Barricaded, looks permanent. No point visiting now. Pity, was a great pub. Hope it opens again

Plenty of atmosphere, personal attention by landlord and his wife, excellent tasty home made food.

it was a gem. Lovely beef and gravy sandwiches for lunch, good menu, lovely staff and well kept beer. it will be missed. Another one bites the dust! ????
