Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis used to be my favorite restaurant and the food was delicious. However, with new owners, it seems like the quality has taken a hit. After returning for a meal, we found that the food was barely warm and not cooked properly. The Chicken Chow Mein and Beef with Broccoli were decent, but mostly broccoli with very little beef. The sweet and sour pork and ginger beef were awful, almost as if they were not cooked at all. Some parts were soft like lard, while the meat was very tender. I became ill after only eating half of my meal, mostly broccoli and chow. The prices had also increased significantly with no discount offered for takeout orders. Despite being upset, I returned the food and was given a refund, with the explanation that the recipes had changed. I won't be returning to this restaurant and wish they had investigated the issue further. Overall, I was very disappointed with the lack of quality in the food. It's a shame that things have changed for the worse.
I have been ordering from Jade Buffet for the past month and the food is delicious and fresh. It is better than the previous Jade restaurant. I hope they continue to do great work.
My family has been dining at Jade Buffet for 20 years, and this visit was the first since the restaurant changed ownership. Upon returning home, I mentioned to my wife that the food reminded me of the Royal Wok dog food we had tried when Jade Buffet was closed for the holiday - it was exactly the same. We ordered our usual dish for 5 adults, but this time it did not provide enough food, whereas we always had leftovers in the past. The prices had increased by 50% and the portion sizes had decreased slightly. For example, the Sweet and Sour Pork used to cost $11.95 with a 10% discount, making it $10.00 for pickup, and it would feed 5-6 adults alongside other dishes. Now it costs $14.99 with no discount and only feeds 2-3 adults. I can understand the need for price increases due to COVID-19, but it is ridiculous for the new owners to expect customers to accept such a drastic change. We used to eat at Jade Buffet 1 or 2 times a month, but after this experience, I doubt we will return. RIP Jade Buffet.
After we finally came back for a long-awaited lunch buffet, we were very disappointed about the offers. No more fish or shrimp, no garlic pork ribs or dumplings. The obtained ton of “soup” was tasteless and no indication of a green onion. Several dishes, including the “Ginger... Beef” had the same sick sweet sauce and was almost unusable. Only 2-3 articles were ok. It was clean and good Covid protocols available. Friendly efficient service but forget the food and the senior price is not worth it. I'm sorry, but not back.
We were not aware of change of management and ordered our usual but got something totally different. Website was not updated either. Would not order again..very cornstarchy and fatty meat. Sad…used to be very good
