Avaliação da contribuiçãoSimple, unpretentious, with a little local attitude. Large simple sandwiches at great low prices. The best choice of single-site chips to fit in the city and a beverage selection. Service is fast and friendly. The best place to go for a fast but tasty take and lunch.
Classical sandwich made right!. What makes a great sandwich? For me everything begins with bread. No matter how good the meat is bad bread is the fastest way to YUCK. The bread that these guys use is AWESOME!!! Be it wheat, white, marbled rye or 7 grains. They are all good with the texture that says the bread is fresh and great taste. My personal favorite is the wheat! I already had quite a lot of sandwich on the menu, as this is one of the closest places to work and it makes a quick escape if I can't stop for lunch. My personal favorite is the smoked Turkey with avocado. The sandwich has plenty of meat and the avocado is thickly distributed. The cheese they use is thick cut, adding both the texture of the sandwich and the taste. I can really taste and feel the Swiss cheese when you bite in your sandwich. I usually finish my salad and tomatoes. (I'm pretty simple and don't want too many things about the taste of turkey and avocado. A complete sandwich will be more than much for most people and I often find myself ordering a half and getting a cookie (Made by Cookietree and a bag of chips for a well-rounded meal. As for soup I recommend the chili or the cheese cauliflower they are my favorites and both are delicious and worth trying. This is a large small place the two owners were usually working the register. When you visit the place, they will ask how you do and how business is that add to my desire to continue to support the local business. As mentioned in other reviews sitting is so not ideal for winter, but on a beautiful spring or autumn day it is very happy to sit on the picnic tables outside and enjoy your sandwich. This is the place you go if you want classic sandwich for lunch.
Quintessential Market! Love Love LOVE This Market!! You have everything a market should have. Huge selection of individually bagged chips, wide selection of chilled drinks, wide selection of sweets, fresh fruit, freshly bagged vegetables and naturally sandwiches and soup! The sandwiches are incredible! You can choose a sandwich from the menu or build yourself. Choose from nine different meats, six different cheeses, six different breads and a bunch of different vegetables. The tuna sandwich is one of the best tuna sandwiches, the Veggie is HUGE and so pleasant, and the imitation crab and avocado is dreamy. They also offer salads, chili and hot dogs. Definitely the perfect place to build the perfect lunch.
Turkey and Avocado....mmmmm..... I heard about this place on Twitter, and had to check it out. Very reminiscent of Grove Market, which is located just a little more north on Main Street. I asked the lady at the sandwich counter what the most popular sandwich is, and she said the turkey and avocado, so I had to try it out. It was a very large, very filling sandwich. Ingredients were good quality, and the bread they use for their sandwiches is so good that I went back in after eating my sandwich and bought a loaf to take home. The sandwich was very good, and a great value. They also feature homemade soups, which I'll have to try next time. I was speaking with (I think) the owner, and they have been in business around 20 or 30 years. It's great to see them surviving, especially in this environment. One word of warning: they have NO indoor seating, so either plan on eating your sandwich on a picnic bench out front, in your car, or back at the office. Check Town and Country out. I'll definitely be going back.
Delicious!. You wouldn't even think this place serves food from the outside. It's located in an old garage, but at lunch time this place is jumping. They have some of the freshest ingredients for sandwiches and I have never been disappointed. The Havarti chesse is outstanding. Great place to drop in and grab a sandwich and soup, but be prepared to take it home or eat in your car because they don't have any seating.
