Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe enjoyed this restaurant so much, we ate here twice. They serve traditional local food in a really nice, informal atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed, mainly with locals. We were amazed to see them turning tables and still seating diners until turned 10.00pm. Our second visit was mid-week and was less busy. Both times, the service was really nice and the food was served quickly. Great Fondues!
I believe that those who enjoyed and recommend the restaurant know nothing about traditional savoyard food. The fondue was probably the worst I ever had in my life (and as I grew up in Switzerland, I know my subject...) and the raclette was not even made from suitable cheese. The other food we had was of similar quality. The only thing that was good was the service.
Super restaurant in the heart of Samoens. Although the menu is fairly small, all of the traditional Savoyard recipes are on the menu. Excellent Tartiflette and other local recipes, all presented really well. The staff are very friendly and helpful all of which contributes to a very enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended
You have to remember to get to restaurants early in France, but we were able to get in here at about 8.15pm and had a great meal. We have a wheelchair user in the family and there are a couple of steps to get in, but we managed with manual chair. Once inside the staff were checking the table was not too low (offering to raise it if necessary) and more than happy to help with other things my son needs (like extra sauce for blending his food, etc) I speak passable French but the staff do speak good English so we each spoke mostly in the other's language!
Very welcoming for families, service was quick and friendly although room was quite warm! I would recommend for mixed family groups. Food was good too!
