One of the great authentic Indian places in the Bay Area. Everything served here is of the highest quality and maintains authenticity and freshness Our favorite is their afternoon lunch buffet, the location Santa Row currently has Friday and weekend buffet and the location Los Altos has sat/sun buffet I would eat the buffet only for the endless goat curry and naan The butter chicken and naan or butter chicken and rice is excellent from this world, again the price of the buffet for this alone The vegetarian des panned are spectacular, saag dishes are great In general sauces are rich and tasteful and slightly spicy Excellent place for a celebration or entertainment
A traditional Indian taste after a long time. I enjoyed the chicken tandoori. The meat had the correct amount of spices and delicately cooked. The fried shrimps were also extremely cooked. The chicken was my favorite. I tried in many restaurants and it was very creamy and not well cooked, but in Amber, every aspect of the butter chicken was great and the chicken was well cooked in the curry.
Taste is authentic and service is professional. Very nicely prepared food that was made by real chefs with a lot of hard work. I return a few times in the last 7 years and their menu is quite consistent. Recommend the chickens biriyani (Bombe yogurt sauce), Nimbu chicken and garlic naan.
Best Indian food I’ve had in my life. All the meat were so soft and tender! Garlic nan was amazing and cheese nan was also very tasty. Most of all butter chicken, top notch
