Avaliação da contribuiçãoI enjoyed my visit here. I think it’s definitely one of the best places to run when Thai craving comes. The portions are huge and flavorful. Ofc it’s not a fine dining experience.I think is great for group dinners and date night. Gets busy but if you’re one or two is doable to find a spot. The service was great, only thing I wish is they were more transparent with the tip situation. Since they use toast is hard to know what just happened.Vegetarian options: You can order tofu or veggies
We ordered Garlic Duo, Pad See Ew and some sticky rice for dinner. Great foods, friendly staffs. The place is a bit small and I would love if it is brighter. However, in general, it's definitely a good place you need to try.
I visited Ben Thai cafe recently for dinner with some friends. The restaurant is located quite conveniently and finding street parking was not a challenge at 7 pm. Not sure if it is always like that, considering parking is always a challenge in SF.The ambience of the restaurant is quite amicable, although I think it can use an uplift considering the charges. Ordered one of the banana-cherry shakes and their popular chicken wings for starters. It was kind of a let down as the shake felt a little bland and wings just lacked some substance. Could not find a whole lot of meat in the wings which was not we expected considering it was their ‘most popular’ recipes. Then, ordered the yellow curry whith chicken, and again it tasted pretty bland. It wasnt bad but just lacked the flavor that you look for when having good thai food. Also, they did not offer rice with the curry so you have to order it separately as a side. That was another let down. I have been to many good thai places, and typically they offer small portion of rice along with curries. Not here though. It was an okeish kind of experience. Likely not going back there again.
Amazing place the food is just great and very tasty. Location is great right on park street easy to get to I can't hear with my girlfriend. We had a coconut curry with rice and cheese. Or the noodles would be a little bit spicy was amazing. We have a tie beer and enter up our dinner with the coconut fried planting dish, a perfect cherry on top of the cake highly recommended if you are anywhere near oak street.
Food was so incredibly delicious and service was really fast too! Dined in and was out in under an hour. Got the green and yellow curries (yellow was vegan! , and they were both so good, better than other Thai restaurants we've been too. They also had a ton of other menu items that could be made vegan or vegetarian, and they were clearly marked on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free vegan/vegetarian dishes clearly marked on menu
