Avaliação da contribuiçãoDinner in front of a concert in the SF ball park. there were a lot of customers who wish for pre-show meals, but the restaurant was overwhelmed because it had only two waiters. the waiting period after the order was long and the service was forgetful and slow (three times asked for a water replenishment) they need more waiter for peak hours.
Ruchi had excellent food I would recommend ordering many items and sharing them all. It is in a random and not very nice part of SOMA, but my friends and I walked there after going to MoMA and found it to be a hidden gem.
We had dinner before a concert at the SF ball park. The restaurant was packed with customers wanting appetizers, but there were only two waiters working, causing long wait times and forgetful, slow service. We had to ask three times for a water refill. They definitely need more waiters during peak hours.
No romantic restaurant, but the food is what you come for. Some of the best Indian food in San Francisco. I haven't seen some regional dishes anywhere else. Kraut with sauces are the way to go... Tandoori is okay, but it's the curries that really seem. Service is friendly and always attentive. They feel very comfortable and know you at the second visit. Parking is available in the evening without any trouble, as it is located from most residential areas of the SOMA. Great place to go on the way or out of baseball park.
Did our 10th Anniversary here because we LOVE South Indian foods. Spicy, authentic (wife just got back from Kerala Tamil Nadu) and flavorful. Hands down the fish curry beats all curries in the city of any culture. Friendly staff who want to make you happy and full. Every dish a winner. I want to write a sterling review, but don't want it to be TOO discovered as prices are moderate and portions good sized.
