Avaliação da contribuiçãoI came here for dinner with a girlfriend, and we both enjoyed everything! We ordered the roasted vegetables, grilled octopus, and wagyu. Our favorite was the octopus because it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly- we both agreed it was the best octopus we had ever had. The vegetables were also amazing- I would definitely order this dish again the next time I eat here. The wagyu was a bit disappointing, however. We suspected they were scrap end pieces they cut off while preparing wagyu steaks. Probably wouldn't order this again, although cooking the meat on hot stones was sort of fun.
I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious every dish was. This is my favorite Hawaiian restaurant in the city.
The restaurant was peaceful on a Friday evening, with only a few tables occupied throughout the night. The food was creative, made with fresh ingredients, and absolutely delicious! While there were limited vegetarian options, the chef was accommodating and substituted tofu for proteins to cater to vegetarians. The cocktails were delightful and unique. We were celebrating a birthday, and the restaurant surprised us with candles on a cake and generously comped all desserts on the bill!
The service at this restaurant was exceptional (Rafael was fantastic) and the food was equally impressive. They offer fresh and innovative takes on traditional Hawaiian dishes. The presentation was also very creative. I highly recommend trying the Poke and grilled Hamachi. The highlight of the meal was the banana bread pudding paired with a delicious cup of coffee at the end. I highly recommend this restaurant.
It was a dining experience that deserved 5 star accolades in every category. From food to service to the wine list, this NEW restaurant delivers in every category. The Chef stopped by the table and shared his fusionology!! He was a pleasure to meet. The tabled loved it. It was a culinary treat.
