Tommy's Mexican - San Andreas

One of the greatest families in SF and the best margaritas in the world. The friendliest and hardest working staff in the city.

The service was friendly, quick and professional. The atmosphere has an authentic Mexico feel. The paintings and decorations made me feel I was actually there. As for the food? DELICIOUS!!! Authentic Mexican flavor, every bite was satisfying. I had the chicken enchilada with beef taco. I love Mexican food and it's not always easy to find authentic and delicious together, but they do it right. Thank you.

Been customer been forever. The portion is getting smaller and smaller. Pretty expensive for Mexican food, but I like shrimp and fish dishes here. Carne Asada is their best dish if you don't like seafood. Updated 10/27/23: down to 3 stars because they allow non service pet inside. It diminished my dining experience.

A bit more expensive than I remember but the tequila is still one of the largest selections anywhere.

Only had chips and salsa. Only went for the tequilas. They were most knowledgeable and willing to share their expertise. I do want to return, to eat some food. And of course, have a margarita or two.
