Having visited the excellent fish co operative restaurant on Isla Providencia we looked forward to eating at this one in San Andres. What a disappointment. One of us asked for Shrimp Ceviche and got shrimp in cold sauce the same sauce that another of our...party got [warm] on his conch creole. The seafood rice looked and tasted as though a portion of cooked rice had been added to a portion of cooked frozen seafood and then mixed together. The rice portions with the conch were adequate but smaller than at other places. Although the service was friendly it didn't really compensate for the poor food

They offer a big selection of local dishes. Food was nice but service was too slow, we were a group of six and two of us received or dishes 30 min later while the other 4 had to wait for on hour. Some in our...group were very happy with the food but mine was just ok and I can't justify the delay.

Believes or not, it is not easy to find fish in san andres. local love fast eating. the cooperativa is by far the best typical restaurant of the island, the prices have risen, but still it is the best offer.
