Avaliação da contribuiçãoWent to this spot because a couple folks in our group wanted oysters on the half-shell. They also discovered the oysters shooters. What a fun and relaxed atmosphere dining outdoors on the bend of the river! Todd and Endgren (pardon if name ismisspelled) we're very attentive to our party of seven out-of-town patrons. Thanks for making our visit so much fun!
This place is great! Obviously it's a tourist area but the food was solid. The oysters were fresh and the gumbo was delicious! We got right in, no wait during the week. We sat right on the river and there was live music! Our server Harlie was so nice andvery attentive. Definitely would come back
Mother's Day lunch/brunch would be busy so I made reservations @onthebendsa. Dad loves oysters so we thought to try it out. My husband and I initially had the Raspberry Mojito but it tasted like Raspberry soda. We switched to Mango Jalapeno Margarita andRaspberry Mule which were so much better. The East Coast Oysters were good when they finally came. It took 45 minutes. We wantedto try the mango ceviche and wagyu shortribs but neither were being served. My husband had the house salad with shrimp and thatlooked great. We added the Blackened Ahi Tuna sandwich but ended up taking it home. Definitely was a leisurely paced lunch.
Food is amazing! Best oyster spot I've found in San Antonio. The oysters tasted so fresh and they had multiple options for my non-oyster loving guests. The service was TOP NOTCH. Our servers name was Arturo and he made the night so special for us. Hereally went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back!
Restaurant on the river walk, beautiful views for sure. Amazing lighting. Drinks took 35 minutes while the food took 1 hour to start coming out, we were not given cutlery, orders were missing. I felt bad for the waiter which was actually nice. Seems likethey had a mess in the kitchen. Food tasted okay. Prices were fair.
