I ordered the shrimp tamarind and my man the chicken parmesan. both were delicious. there were many cloves and the tamarinden sauce paired with them very well. the soße was so good that I threw it up with the. garlauchbrot after the finish with the garnels. the order came with rice and with mixed vegetables that were perfectly cooked. the chicken parmesan came with pepitas, much parmesan up, with the marinara sauce on the side. again the chicken was cooked for perfection and the marinara was very tasteful. we have it with lemon cheesecake (canned more cake, but this is my taste) and cheesecake with raspberry topping; both delicious. they were out of flan, which I would definitely like to try next time. the waiter was attentive, but also not intrusive. this is a place where we want to come back to try the other elements on the menu. a note on Kovid practices: they were more than strict. our temperatures were taken, the lotion that was placed on our hands needed sanitary and masks. I saw one of the employees clean tables after the patrons were made, and they were always sprayed and wiped off, with the staff that ensures that the entire table was cleaned from one end to another.
The woman had drowned and cheese tacos, very dry. the condiments were only partly full. the waiter said that the bark is her specificity, so I ordered the schish kabob, medium. it looks good, but first bite was mostly hard fat and not chewable. when I tried the other ones the same. the waiter told me it was supposed to be like that and that I ordered it wrong, I should have done it well. I'm not a fan of burned meat. they took it back and let me order something else. I ripped them, they were not too bad. less then average most. now the good part. the bill, maybe it was a mistake, maybe they thought I couldn't read spanish, but it translated into over dollar us. it was for a party of me talking to someone else and that something happened to them. When I asked the waiter about it, he had to deal with the management, that was with a table close to it. then we got the next bill, it had everything we had ordered. I told him waiter if I had to pay for it, I wanted to take it. on the bill of him everything was right. it is a pity that no one from the management has addressed the problem at this time and has left it to the waiter who was there only one week. I hope that management has the competence to correct these problems, to hide in the opposite, behind a keyboard, to do me for a bad customer as it did to others in the past.
Where should I start? during our stay Tony’s definitiw was our favourite place that came back several times (including our last night for our last dinner). everything our family tried was delicious and thought us more. the service was excellent! very warm, welcoming, friendly. and prompt. another thing that I appreciate was her mission that she showed front and centered how they open her menu! we really appreciate the entire staff at Tony’s, we were treated so well and everything was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! definitely will return if in the opposite in the future, hopefully sooner than later!
Steaks and ribs were excellent. Only problem was the rather slow service which necessitated skipping dessert. Wait staff were aware that we were going to a show later.
Great place to get good streaks and seafood. Waiters spark English. Good wine selection. Right on the main road between Chapala and Ajijijc.
