The Boys' Deli - San Bruno

Each sandwich we ordered (Italian, Mr. Pickles, Got Beef, BLAT Big Easy) was delicious. The Dutch Crunch bread was amazing with a great chew to it! It held all the toppings together well without getting soggy or falling apart. The staff was kind, patient and helpful as we were trying to decide which sandwich to order.

I ordered a HAM and CHEESE on DUTCH CRUNCH BREAD. They surprised me with adding pesto to the sandwich. It was my first time having HAM and CHEDDAR CHEESE sandwich with PESTO. It REALLY WAS SATISFYING AND DELICIOUS ... Like Willy Wonka said on the Movie CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. THANK YOU, MY TUMMY WAS HAPPY.

Doordashed a meatball sub with the vegan substitute. The sandwhich was satisfying but many of the technical elements fell short and there were a lot faults.The garlic sauce was far too potent. The vegan meatballs are not bad, but they could use more seasoning. The whole wheat bread was very good, toasted perfectly and very flavorful.The mozzarella got too stringy due to the heat, and would have been better if it wasn’t toasted with the bread. The marinara sauce was alright but most of it oozed out of sandwich in packaging. Lastly, it would have been better if there was one layer of paper cut through and another whole sheet wrapping around the two halves.

Polite staff, The sandwich was extremely good. Will be going back for sure.

Delicious sandwiches. Friendly service, fair price. Vegetarian options: Love the vegetarian i have my sandwich on Dutch crunch. Parking: Not allot of parking, but I haven't had any problem getting a parking spot reasonably close, or directly in front.
