Annapurna Indian Cuisine - San Diego

This is my favorite Indian restaurant by far. As someone from Southern California, I have plenty of options for Indian cuisine, but this place is definitely the most delicious. I especially enjoy the chickpea masala and eggplant with peanut sauce. The service is always friendly, which keeps me coming back. During my last visit, I arrived right when they opened and the staff kindly asked if we could come back later or wait a bit because the chef had not arrived yet. Despite this minor hiccup, the food still arrived promptly. Additionally, they are very accommodating to vegans.

I went to this restaurant for lunch right after they opened, but was informed that the buffet was not yet ready. It seems that lunch is only available as a buffet. I inquired about vegan options, and was told they had some but were very limited. They suggested I try another restaurant instead.

It didn't take long for our food to be served. They are also very vegan-friendly.

Came to lunch here after she was opened and was told that she is not ready yet, apparently is lunch only buffet. they said I should come back. I asked if they have vegan options, they said yes, but if I asked what they said it is only a few and that I should go somewhere else.

The restaurant offers delicious South Indian cuisine. Although we haven't had a chance to explore their extensive North Indian menu, it certainly looks promising. It's a great place to satisfy your cravings for hot idly-vada, dosa, or uttapam.
