Chocolate Cremerie - San Diego

This place has got it all! Savory, sweet, coffee, pastries! The ricotta olive bruschetta, was just okay. I liked the sausage pepper flatbread! Smelled amazing and tasted good! The mascarpone Nutella crepe was delicious and not too sweet! Chocolate moose cheesecake, just okay. They are known for the gelato had the Oreo, milk chocolate, tiramisu melon. It was all delicious but not the best I ever had. Service was friendly quick! Ambiance is casual and somewhat European.

Honestly the worst customer service ever. I walked in and perused the flavors. I was going to go for my standard straciatella but was then intrigued by a toffee flavor. I asked if I could try the toffee and was told they do not give samples.... Hmm... really?? I wasn't trying to taste every flavor, just one! So I asked the other young lady. She said, we can't do anything during our rush hour. Mind you, this is 8:45 on a Sunday night and my father and I are, quite literally, the only ones in the store. So I look around and ask her, what rush hour?? We are the only ones here! And she says, well, you just got here! I'm perplexed and annoyed by now. Management should be advised that customers are not being valued or respected. I could understand if I looked as if I was trying to scam the system for free samples but clearly I had intention of patronizing this establishment. I would rather walk away with a bad taste in my mouth than settle for subpar service.

Small but cute place On 5th/Market so you have to walk there no parking on that street. Friendly staff. Delicious Gelato! I got the spicy chocolate. The toffee chocolate was also good

Stopped here while my date and I were taking a walk after dinner. It's a pretty cute little place! The woman was nice enough to let me try 3 flavors of gelato when they limit their customers to 2 samples. I tried the pomegranate, salted caramel and pistachio. The pomegranate was the only one I enjoyed and I ended up getting a cup of it. The other two were just lacking in flavor. I've definitely had better gelato in San Diego, but I wouldn't be opposed to coming back here again if I was walking around the area again.

I'm glad I found this gem in downtown San Diego. Customer service is great. The staff is very helpful. The mimosas are a deal the vibe is very nice and chill. Great music selection. I'll definitely come back.
